Spot Repair / Cosmetic Paint Technician (SMART Repair) — Tamiami Ford

Naples, FL | Full-Time | Up to $1,800/week

The Job

Tamiami Ford is bringing our cosmetic paint work in-house and we need a Spot Repair Technician to run the operation. This is not full-panel collision work. We're talking scratches, chips, scuffs, bumper repairs, hood touch-ups, and blends — the small stuff that used to get sublet out. You'll be working on-site in our inflatable booth using solvent-based paint and quick-cure systems built for spot repair.

If you've worked SMART repair, dealer recon, or mobile paint, you already know the drill.

What You'll Be Doing

• Repairing minor scratches, stone chips, scuffs, and small dents (paint side)
• Refinishing bumpers, mirrors, hoods, and trim
• Color matching and blending into adjacent panels
• Prep, mask, spray, and buff in our inflatable booth
• Knocking out 20+ vehicles a week from our internal recon and used inventory

You won't be chasing your own work. We feed you the cars, you make them right.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years automotive paint experience (SMART repair, recon, or body shop)
• Strong color matching and blending skills
• Self-managed — you run your own queue and keep things moving
• Clean driver's license
• Pride in your work. Half-assed blends don't fly here.

The Pay

• $1,500/week base salary
• Production bonus: $30 per vehicle over 20, up to $1,800/week

Room to Grow

Tamiami is a three-rooftop operation with a full collision center, and we're always looking to develop talent from within. The right person here can grow into a lead tech role, cross-train into full body and paint work at our collision center, or move into shop management down the road.
